500 flee Philippines floods

Four people have drowned and two others are missing in floods in the central Philippines over the past days.
Officials have distributed food packs and other relief items to families displaced by floods in eight provinces.
At least 500 people have taken shelter in evacuation centres.
Disaster management officials say the floods have been receding but at least 12 villages remain underwater in Mindoro province.
Domestic flights to central provinces have been cancelled due to the bad weather.
The floods have been caused by three successive low pressure systems which have passed through the central Philippines this week.
